Job Summary

Bern’s Steak House is a World-Renowned Restaurant looking for a professional assistant to help the pastry chefs at multiple locations and who can maintain high end production according to our exacting standards. Creating artisan recipes from scratch with premium ingredients in a team environment is also a required skill. Experience is necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Varying shift times available  
  • Prep pastry kitchen with all necessary items for production
  • Assist in scheduling, ordering and leadership responsibilities
  • Prepare and Plate all items according to Bern’s Steak House standards
  • Ensure Quality of all Products in high volume restaurant
  • Maintain cleanliness of Station throughout the entire shift
  • Maintain safety standards at all times

Qualifications and Skills

  • Attention to detail  
  • Must work well with others
  • Must work quickly in a safe and effective manner
  • Need to have consideration for guests and maintain a professional demeanor as guests will be touring the kitchen during service
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting
