Entry Level Service Bartender (Harry Waugh Dessert Room)

Position Summary:

The entry level service bartender position offers restaurant experience including drink production and development of food, wine and spirit knowledge. This is a great position to garner experience in the hospitality industry and work for a successful company that promotes from within.

Essential Duties: 

  • Understand bar layout and flow.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Complete assigned work for stocking and setting up workstation.
  • Clean and sanitize on a routine basis.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience / Skills Required: 

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have availability during weekends and nights. Posses the ability to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and some holidays.
  • Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. multiple times during a shift.
  • Frequent bending and lifting.
  • Use of hands required 100% of time.
  • Stand, move, and walk during a 6-10 hour shift.
  • Must be able to hear other personnel requests in the midst of loud background noise.
  • Must be able to read, organize and execute all tickets received.
