Bern’s Steak House has been a Tampa Bay icon since Bern and Gert Laxer opened the location in 1956. We house over 6,500 different types of wine and more than half a million bottles. The collection spans back to the eighteen hundreds with bottles valued at $30,000.
Our wine cellar stewards are expected to give tours of our wine cellar, locate bottles with in our extensive collection, polish glasses and help keep our cellar and warehouse organized, clean and safe. This is a back of the house job that still involves a fair amount of customer interaction due to the cellar tours we offer. You would be working under a staff of four Sommeliers with a group of about a dozen other wine cellar stewards in a fast paced kitchen environment.
